STOP THE MUSIC!

howdy y'all! yes, i know ive been slacking on the posting thing. what can i say? i have no good excuses, just livin in the real world tryin to get thru the holidays. speakin of...how was everyones christmas?? mine was great! puzzles, cds, dvds, games, jewelry, clothes, books....i cant pick a favorite gift i loved them all. i do want to review the cds i got though....

korn, fallout boy, will smith, and a homemade cd from angie. funny story bout korn is that my brother and t wanted it as well so i bought them both a copy. when we exchanged gifts, my bro got us a copy and then t opened his copy xmas mornin. then we go to t's gmas house and j is wearing the new korn shirt. i asked him what he got l for xmas and he said the new korn cd. between all of us i think we boosted their sales greatly. lol. anyhoo.........i love their song twisted transistor. the rest of the cd isnt bad to listen to either. fallout boy--well, they r like a combo of bands but im havin a hard time thinkin of which bands exactly. love the song dance dance. the other titles to their songs r fucked up--titles like "we had to change the title of this song cause our lawyer said to". what a mouth full! im really thrilled with wills cd, better than his last one. y'all may think hes weak or w/e but its MY guilty pleasure :-p this cd has some really good beats, personally i think he shoulda released party starter instead of switch but who am i to say. and finally my burned cd--its about "girl power", u know bein tough, kickin ass and not givin a shit. theres some old stuff on the disc--L7, pat benetar, joan jett, etc. good stuff. :)

while im on this subject i watched a vh1 list a few wks back. it was about the top worse dirty songs ever. i laughed my ass off and was surprised all at the same time. then i got to thinkin there were a few songs i woulda put on the list myself. so....in no particular order (btw, if u have any to add feel free)

push it--salt n peppa
my body--lsg
c'mon ride the train--quad city djs
touch it--monifa
how many licks--lil kim
doin it--llcoolj
slow motion--juvenile
shake ur rump--wrex n effex
cradle of love--billy idol--pretty sure any of his other songs could b added ;)
shook me all nite long--ac/dc
throb--janet jackson
little red corvette--princes

......aight, thats enough of my input. funny, some of these songs were really popular, i even like 'em! cant believe they played em at our school dances! hahaha dirty birds! :)

Slight Correction and a few adds...

Rump Shaker is by Wreckx in Effects.

Shake your rump is by The Beastie Boys.

Songs worth adding:
Bump and Grind by R. Kelly (why is it whenever I hear the first 30 seconds of this song I fall out laughing?)

Closer by Nine Inch Nails

I have a few more, but they are all R&B songs that I really didn't care for when they came out in the mid nineties, let along remember name and title now.
