WEEKEND FUN

GUESS WHAT!?!?! i got a serious urge to get more ink this weekend. it was so bad that i didnt want to do anything else til i drove by the tat parlor to c if they were open. and they were!!! so i had to pull in. im considering this tattoo my "spontaneous" one. everyone gets tats for different reasons.....my first tat came about cause i had wanted one when i was 14 and mom said i was too young then. when i turned 17 she signed for me. i had 3 long yrs to pick somethin out and i choose a lizard. a salamander to b exact.....i took a nature book in and had the artist draw it out for me. i think everyone who has tats has something of a similar story for their first tat. then theres always the spur of the moment, "i was drunk" kind of tat. hence my spontaneous tattoo! (but i was NOT drunk....a good tat parlor wont pierce or tattoo u if uve been drinkin) then when i get my carnation/butterfly drawn up just right i will have the "in memory/meaningful" tattoo, plus itll b the tattoo that i draw myself. and that will kill 2 birds with one stone. after that one, im pretty sure i wont need anymore. i dont want to b inked all over.....thats just not very girly! so y'all probably want to know what it is??? its a band of tribal, but it doesnt have those sharp lines to it, its got curves and swirls and in the middle of the band i had the artist put a butterfly. its all done in blue/black tones and its across my lower back. :) :) :) im tickled.

then today tim and i went to the zoo. i havent decided if i think the zoo is cool or a sad place to b. we were walkin thru the reptile exhibit and i saw a cage for some kind of snake. cant remember now what it was, but it was red toned. the cutesy factoid next to it read that if it were in its natural habitat it would spend most of its life under water. then i looked in its cage and all they had for the poor animal was a small, shallow pan of water. what bullshit! we kept walkin and dodging overly excited 6yr olds.........we came upon the monkey exhibit. they werent doin ANYTHING!! they were just layin around in the shade sleepin. tim said that he would b doin the same thing considering it was so muggy out. disappointing.....no shit throwin monkeys today. but they had babies so that almost makes up for it. i was lookin forward to the tigers and lions....and the zoo came up short again. only 2 female lions, one tiger. maybe sundays rnt the days to go to c the animals?!? i still enjoyed gettin out.....................

speakin of out.....tim and i have tickets to go c cirque de soleil on the 20th. if u dont know what that is, well its opera (think enigma style) that has acrobatics and gymnastics and weird stuff "acting" out the story they r singing. http://www.cirquedesoleil.com im sooo excited!!

enough bout me, how bout y'alls weekend???
