....im not frustrated anymore. woohoo! not sure what did the trick but i think stayin up really late one nite helped. ;) hehehe work has been work....not even a funny story to share which is kinda weird. "is it a full moon?" i have since talked to chica, i mean really talked to her--not just the cat and mouse game of messages. she seems to b doin well and im happy for her.
hoochie mama, tim and i went to our county fair to watch the Tough Truck Competition. that was fun, i got my sugar waffles!! back in the day it was SUCH a big deal to go to the fair as many times as u could, get all hoochified and walk laps for hours on end to c who u would run into. i suppose the fair signified the end of summer and marked the start of another school year. nothin much has changed....theres still hoochies and players walkin laps for hours on end. .......wow, we were lame then and im old now. lol. do y'all remember doin shit like that???
speakin of local yokels.......theres an auto shop here in town that rents those big message boards, the ones with the plastic letters. well they always have one out front of their shop with these quirky little sayings on it. they put a different saying on either side....the latest 2 sayings r....."the older u get the better u get unless ur a banana" and the other side says "u cant expect an empty bag to stand up" my next day off im gonna go take a pic of the board so i can put it up here. hopefully they will have changed the sayings by then! sometimes my lil town amazes me.....and not always in a good way. OMG!! perfect example of bad amazement---the town bought new street signs, but not for the whole town--just the "old section". they r now brown instead of green and above each street name is an addition that reads "National Historic District". wow. and i thought paving the roads might take precedence.
